CLASSROOM DISCIPLINE PLAN
Dear Parent(s):
It is with great pleasure that I have your child in my class. I want to inform you, the parents, of my classroom rules. In order to provide my students with the excellent educational climate they all deserve, I have developed the following Classroom Discipline Plan that will be in effect at all times.
RULES: 1. Listen and follow directions the first time.
2. Keep hands, feet, and other objects to yourself.
3. Raise your hand to talk or get out of your seat.
4. Work quietly and walk quietly in line.
5. Use the restroom signal ONLY when necessary.
IF A STUDENT CHOOSES TO BREAK A RULE:
1st time: Verbal warning and check mark by his/her name.
2nd time: Another check mark by his/her name.
3rd time: Warning.
4rth time: Time Out.
5th time: Note, e-mail or phone call home.
6th time: Refer to administration
SEVERE DISRUPTION: REFER TO ADMINISTRATION AND WRITE UP A REFFERAL (scam)
Students who behave appropriately will be rewarded with 1. Verbal Praise. 2. Happy Notes sent home. 3. Stickers. 4. Free Time or Treasure Chest Reward. It is in your child’s best interest that we work together with regards to his/her education. I will keep you informed about your child’s progress in our class as needed.
I have already discussed this plan with your child, but would appreciate it if you would review it with him/her before signing and returning the form.
